TAKING CARE OF YOUR JEWELRY

Your one of a kind, handcrafted jewelry requires periodically maintenance. Here are some helpful tips to keep your dancingbluestone pieces looking beautiful.

• Sterling and copper naturally tarnish over time so you might want to clean your jewelry regularly with a soft cloth, Pro Polish Pad, or Sunshine Polishing Cloth

• Protect your jewelry from chemicals, lotions and perfumes as they can darken

COPPER

Copper loves to darken quickly and naturally. The air alone darkens this pretty metal and some people prefer it that way. Anything acidic, light chemicals and even sweat can cause your skin to turn green, its harmless and washes away with soap and water.

Many DBS copper pieces are coated in a product called ProtectaClear, a clearcoat that preserves that bright copper shine a bit longer than normal.  The listing will state this if used. I suggest using a warm soap and water rinse for all DBS pieces.

TURQUOISE

Be sure not to use abrasive cleaners on turquoise or any natural stone. Avoid dropping, scratching and or rubbing lotion over your natural stone jewelry as it can change its color. As always, keep away from harsh chemicals.
